Surveyor's Wagon
Fur trapping gave way to mining and other activities in the mid-1800s. This wagon appears to be a vehicle for a surveying expedition. Unfortunately, the surveyor apparently got lost and perished of hunger, thirst and exposure in the desert, or maybe was scalped by Indians, because he is nowhere to be seen.
