Oblique view with truck682 viewsThe house is partly obscured by JoAnn's truck, but I was able to capture most of the chimney, which I found quite attractive.

Unobscured front view681 viewsFront View of Doug and JoAnn Rees' house in Stockton, August 2021

By the Light of the Silvery Octopus678 viewsA two-bulb light fixture with an octopus (on the wall plate, kind of hard to see) holding it on the wall

A Herculean Labor663 viewsJoAnn and Doug enlisted some highly skilled electricians and craftsmen to help in assembling the chandelier and making it work; it came with some pieces missing, and a number of technical issues had to be resolved. It was an impressive feat to get it working; not many people would have been able or willing to endure such an ordeal, and all the people involved deserve a lot of credit.
