IC 1805 - The Heart Nebula in Cassiopeia
IC 1805, the Heart Nebula, lies 7,500 light-years away from Earth in the Perseus arm of the Milky Way. It is an emission nebula, drawing its radiance from Melotte 15, the cluster of bright stars in the center of this image.
