Messier 106 and companions
The large spiral galaxy at left is M106, lying at a distance of 22 to 25 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Canes Venatici.  A myriad of other galaxies are in the frame, of which the two most prominent are NGC 4248 (closest to M106) and NGC 4217 (disk at right).
