Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma

October 4-16, 2022

On October 4, 2022, Sandie and I piled into Red Sonja, our 2016 Subaru Outback, and headed east. We had several objectives. One was to visit Meteor Crater in Arizona, which neither of us had ever seen. A second was to take a train ride on the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad in New Mexico and Colorado, and at the same time meet up with my sister and brother-in-law. A third was to visit an old and treasured friend in Clovis, New Mexico; fourth, to visit my brother and sister-in-law in Dallas, Texas; and fifth, to drop in on a fellow astro-imager in Tuttle, Oklahoma. We managed to accomplish all of these.
